The second course within the framework of ERASMUS+ SMARTI Program started at the Public Administration Academy of RA on February 12, 2024. Amanda Mason and Casey Beaumont from the University of John Moorse, Liverpool, were hosted in the Academy on the occasion. The PAARA Rector Khachatur Ghazeyan introduced the guests and expressed hope that due to the regular course of the Program the Academy will come closer to main purpose. That is: to have curricula or syllabi taught in English. 

Within the framework of the Program ‘Support for Innovative Methodology, Approaches and Tools for Teaching through the Medium of English in Order to Improve Educational Yield, Sustainability and Internationalization’ the participants took the advantage of listening to trainers Lusine Grigoryan and Vilen Khachatryan. Senior specialist of the Center of International Cooperation and Development L. Grigoryan held a course on ‘EMI Oral Teaching Skills Part 2 (case studies to support the analytical thinking approach)’. In order to boost the participants’ critical thinking, the participants were proposed a case study, which promoted the participants’ excitement.

Head of the Chair of Administration of PAARA V. Khachatryan made a presentation on ‘Formation of Matrix of life goals’ within the framework of ‘EMI Individual Teaching Support Module’. With the help of favorite icebreakers, the presenters “made” the participants think over their further goals and how to reach them.
